Day 7 - Spectacular sunrise

The first truly great sunrise I have experienced not just on the _RV Investigator_ but anywhere. — The first truly great sunrise I have experienced not just on the *RV Investigator* but anywhere.

Usually I never wake up early enough to view a sunrise, but since I’m on the 2am to 2pm shift, we have been privy to some truly spectacular sunrises. But none more so than the one today.

We were astounded by the natural beauty of the oceanscape and used the opportunity to play “Circle of Life” from The Lion King soundtrack to mark the occasion. We even summoned a shark to swim by the boat! Maybe I will become a sunrise person post-voyage - who knows!
