Day 25 - Bollywood class

At the 2pm “science” meeting, Chantelle Ridley gave us a Bollywood masterclass. She customised the moves to familiar actions we use to classify rocks on the trip.

2 dredges

Today we had two dredges on the Nova Seamount: one with a single carbonate rock inside it, and another with basalt!

The thick black coating on the outside edge of the rock is manganese oxide. Some of these will make their way into Pet Rock Day tomorrow - stay tuned!
